The Centre for Performing Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds — Arc en Scènes — entrusted the realization and integration of a new identity for their website to the company Com&Cie Interactive Communication.
Within the framework of this redesign, Arc en Scènes requested to integrate a management as well as an online booking system for their shows. Causal Sàrl thus created a TYPO3 extension for Com&Cie Interactive Communication in line with the specifications discussed with the client.
Feature Summary
The specifications described the various features requested by the client, including:
- Management of different seasons of shows
- Management of off-season shows
- Display of alimited list of ucoming shows
- Filtering events by location, date, season and type of subscription
- Summary and detail of a show (distribution, biography, sponsors, photo gallery and videos, …)
- Management of the various representations of a show
- Online booking system with sohpping cart and multiple pricing
Creation
The realization was conducted in order to offer maximum flexibility to the integrator, by providing markers representing the different attributes of a show (venue, date, title, ...) for use in basic HTML templates.
To emphasize the philosophy of TYPO3, namely the ease of processing the data before they are displayed (e.g., to dynamically encode email addresses or transform text into image), all fields support stdWrap facility allowing them to be post-processed arbitrarily by TypoScript.
Finally, the integrator is able to define, also in TypoScript its own markers that can then be integrated into their templates.
The new site of the Center for Performing Arts in La Chaux-de-Fonds — Arc en Scènes — was brought online September 8, 2011 at 7pm.
